Master Tables

The Master Tables section displays all the tables that are used by TrakIT. Master tables contain information applicable to the entire application, i.e. all work orders, workflows, entities and users.

Workflow Services Table

The Workflow Services table allows the user to define the master services to which events and data for a workflow can be linked. The name, description and type of service (import, export or round trip) and whether the service is a primary service or a secondary service. Only one primary service and any number of secondary services can be selected for a work order. The user may create new services, modify existing services or delete unused services.
Container Type Table
Container type table displays the list of all the standard container types and their description.
Delay Tracking Type
Delay tracking type displays the list of all the tracking types where we can calculate the delay costs.

Entity Groups Table

Entity Groups table allows users to define specific groups in which entities belonging to the same organisation can be grouped together.
Events/Data Table

Events/Data table defines the master event/data used in a workflow along with default event/data codes. The 'Use Count' refers to the number of workflows in which this event/data field is used. The user may create new master events or data, modify existing events and data or delete unused events or data.

Form Definitions

The Forms Definitions table displays the list of all the forms in TrakIT along with their description. This table also shows whether these forms are global (attached to all workflows) or attached to only selected workflows. Click on icon of a selected form to create a duplicate copy of the forms.

Functions Definitions

The Functions table displays the list of all functions defined in TrakIT. Every user in TrakIT can be assigned one or more functions and every Event or Data field in a workflow can also be assigned one or more functions. This creates a logical correlation between users and events.

GPS Assets

The GPS Assets table defines the complete list of GPS position reporting devices and their assignments to trucks, containers or loads. This feature requires tie-ups with GPS Fleet Tracking Vendors.

KPI Definitions

The KPI Definitions table displays the list of all KPIs defined in TrakIT along with their description and whether they are currently active or not.

The Offices table displays the list of all the countries in which the office using TrakIT is located, along with the number of users in each location.

Shipment Type

The Shipment Type table displays information about the types of shipment along with the number of work orders with that particular shipment type.

The Verticals table displays the lists the various categories of goods that are shipped, along with the number of work orders which belong to that category and whether a particular vertical is active or not.

* In all these tables, new fields can be added as and when required and existing fields can be modified or deleted as required only by sysadmins.
